Being Flexible
One of our ministry opportunities ended up being canceled so we had to pivot. It ended up being great because the school from yesterday allowed us to come back! We spent the morning with new kids doing VBS lessons, games, crafts, and music.
Teaching Innovations!
Our teaching team decided to make some last minute changes. They created a new skit over the birth of Jesus.
Bird houses have been a massive hit this week as a craft.
From Cat and Mouse to a full fledge soccer (fútbol) we played hard!
VBS Camp
After lunch, the pastor picked up some kids to bring them to the camp we are staying at for some VBS fun.
Team Dinner
It rained allllll day long and that caused us to not be able to do home visits. So we relaxed after the kids went home and then headed out for a team dinner at a local resturant.
Cat Loves Dog
This game is a tradition on New Heights Mission Trips. After our team debrief, we played for over an hour! It is a fan favorite!
Another School Tomorrow
We are headed to another school tomorrow! Pray that our interactions with kids and teachers will be fruitful. More home visits and another church training are also scheduled.
