Day Four of Dayton Serve has wrapped, our last day of service for the week! We ended this week with a trip to the Salvation Army Kroc center, where we helped clean up sticks and debris from the property, to keep the area safe and aesthetic!

Then we went inside to help create decorations for the Kroc Center’s Christmas Celebration, the center piece of which will be an ice castle made of foam board. Our group helped cut out ice sickles as accents to this castle!

And as we prepared to close out the week, we moved to Ephesians 4:17-32, where we learned of the ignorance of the Gentiles and how to put away the old self, and put on the new man! I pray that we, in some small ways, have learned to put off aspects of our old selves and learned to serve with greater effort and joyous hearts!
