Team Commissioning
Our team will be Commissioned by WHBC on Sunday, June 7th. This will be during BOTH services at 9am and 10:30am. Please make plans to attend so our church can pray for us as we prepare to leave the following week. Wear your light green shirt that has the New Heights logo on the front.
Flight Itinerary
Please be advised that times and Flight Numbers are subject to change. Team members will receive per diem during travel days for food.
With our group tickets, we are given one free checked bag for each person. Bag weight and size requirements are below.
Leaving for Costa Rica
We will meet at church, Friday, June 12 @ 6pm. This will allow your families to pray for you and our team. Bring your checked bag so we can spread VBS supplies amongst our team. We will have a scale to make sure your suitcase is not over 50 lbs. Bring your passport and give it to Pastor Grant.
We have an early flight out of Cincinnati. Parents, we are asking you to drop your teens off at the airport by 4am. United Airlines is still encouraging early arrival to the airport due to TSA lines. Some of our adult leaders have offered to carpool as well. Below you will find a list of Carpools. I will send out messages via Church Center throughout our trip.

Coming Back Home
We will be landing back in Cincinnati late on the night of June 20th. Parents, please plan to pick your teens up from the airport. You may feel free to use the same carpools if needed. I will also send out messages throughout the journey via Church Center.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON US CUSTOMS
In order to more effectively and smoothly go through US Customs please do the following:
Download the “Mobile Passport Control” app to your teen’s phone. You need to ONLY do this one ONE phone per family. Set up a profile for each person that is traveling. Again, this only needs to happen on ONE phone even if you have multiple family members on the trip.

Please see the Details Notes below for help in packing. Make sure each bag is labeled with your name and contact info. you may want to also mark it in some way so it is easy to identify in baggage claim. For example, a red ribbon tied to a handle.
Please make sure to keep some space in your checked bag as we may need to divide VBS Supplies throughout the team.
