Day 1 - Sunday
12 hours of travel really wipes you out! We are ready for bed. Traffic and weather were great for the drive. But we made it. We had dinner, got a tour of where we are staying, and got settled in.
Busy week!
We have a busy week in store. LeaderTreks manages the schedule so we are pretty much going every day! We start tomorrow with a work project in the morning and then preparing for VBS in the afternoon. The work project is installing some railings for a widow in the community and painting the inside of a trailer.
Meals
For every meal (besides lunch - that we pack everyday), we have teams that will prep and clean up. Here is the schedule!
Team Time
Each night we will gather in the chapel for “Team Time”. We had a brief one tonight. During this time we will talk about what we learned during our personal devotional times in the mornings, discuss the events of the day, offer encouragement to each other, and see where we can improve for the next day.
