Day 2 - Monday
Today consisted of hard, hot work and prepping for VBS.
The day started with Team D (Lucy, Levi D., Joel and Thaddeus) making breakfast. We moved to personal devotions. We are studying Ephesians this week. We then made our way to the worksite - where we pulled weeds, and installed some poles for step railings.
Perseverance
Noah worked hard to get this root out of the hole. Also, we didn’t have an outlet so Kira decided to hand saw one of the poles!
Our students lead, delegated, and made sure all of the tasks were complete.
VBS Prep
We spent the afternoon going through a mock VBS and then prepping snacks and all of the gifts for our kiddos!
Team Time
We ended our day with our Team Time. We talked about leadership styles, evaluated our team and how the day went, encouraged one another, and spent time in Bible study and worship. We will do this every night.
